Brook-y-field

Sat right next door to Had-y-field, Brook-y-field is one of the village’s original beach houses. Rustic, full of character, with original features and some of our favourite sea views.

The house is currently being carefully renovated, leaning into its history and location. Think timber-clad walls, original character, lots of natural light and that slightly imperfect charm that a proper old beach house should have.

It sleeps up to 8. There are two king-size bedrooms, plus a loft room sleeping four, with a double and two singles. Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen and living space opens straight onto the garden, with big views towards the sea and plenty of space for everyone to spill outside when the sun is shining.

The garden has its own private access onto the path down to the beach, so shoes are very much optional. There’s also an outhouse for boards, wetsuits, bikes and all the other kit that inevitably comes with a few days by the sea.

It’s a relaxed house with a lovely feel to it, the kind of place where sandy feet are expected, doors stay open and most days revolve around the beach.
